Michael is a senior lawyer with over three decades of experience across government, business, and top-tier legal practice in both Australia and Greater China.
His career began in the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, with diplomatic postings across the Asia-Pacific, before transitioning into business leadership and eventually high-level legal roles in Sydney and Shanghai with firms including Allens, Clyde & Co, and Insurance Australia Group.
In recent years, Michael has focused on providing legal support to rural landholders in their negotiations with mining companies, renewable energy developers, and agricultural corporates.
Based in Albany, he has developed a strong regional practice built on clear communication, commercial insight, and a deep understanding of land use and access issues across WA.
